TunnelBear Test Report

28 elements to go through in this TunnelBear’s score sheet.

It’s impossible to test under their free version, so I bought a monthly plan for this.

And the score is out, 75 over 100!

  1. DNS Leak Test

TunnelBear-DNS-Leak-Test

Yup, TunnelBear is connecting from its Singapore server correctly.

  1. WebRTC Test

TunnelBear-WebRTC-Leak-Test

Local IP is not important as it can’t be traced back to you. The Public IP is the same as the DNS leak test which is great.

  1. IPV6 Leak Test

  1. Misc – Server Farm

I went over to their support and ask about their servers.

Here’s their full answer. I will take it as being rented instead of fully self-owned.

I was hoping to get a clear answer and I did ask the second time.

But they responded saying that TunnelBear had replied to them for the first time so they’ll just copy back that response.

Below is their response to my request.

  1. Misc – Ad Blocker

There’s a Chrome extension from TunnelBear for the ad blocker which is awesome.

But it’s not integrated into the application nor software.

Final Word

There goes my complete TunnelBear test report.
